Bakery-Style Sprinkle Cookies

Prep Time : 10 minutes

Cook Time : 12 minutes

Total Time : 22 minutes

Dry Ingredients

  • 1½ cups All Purpose Flour
  • ½ tsp Baking Powder
  • ½ tsp Baking Soda
  • ¾ tsp Salt
  • ½ cup Granulated Sugar
  • ¾ cup Powdered Sugar

Wet Ingredient

  • ½ cup Unsalted Butter – Cold & Cubed
  • ½ cup Cream Cheese – Cold & Cubed
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Confetti Sprinkles

 

 

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375℉.
  2. Prepare cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  3. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, & salt in food processor bowl. Pulse to combine dry ingredients. Add powdered & granulated sugars & pulse again.
  4. Add cubes of cold butter and cream cheese to the flour mixture. Pulse to combine until you achieve a sand texture.
  5. Add egg & vanilla while the processor is running. Blend until a thick dough comes together.
  6. Divide dough into 1½-2 tablespoon balls.
  7. Roll balls in the confetti sprinkles. Coat well. Pat in sprinkles with your hands.
  8. Space cookie balls about 2 inches apart. Gently flatten balls to until about ¼-½ inch thick.
  9. Bake for 8-12 minutes. The cookies will look slightly underbaked but will puff back up when gently touched in the center.
  10. Cook on the cookie tray for 2-4 minutes.
